Friends of Big Bend

Big Bend park was founded on June 12, 1944 and is located in south west Texas along the border of Texas and Mexico.    Is is the largest protected park of Chihuahuan Desert.

Friends of Big Bend was created to support, promote, and raise funds for Big Bend National Park in partnership with the National Park Service and other supporters who value the unique qualities of this national resource along the Rio Grande.
